Writer, director, photographer Jimmy Swindells formed Brown Car Films in 2004 to promote his own film projects and professional photography. He focuses on creating entertaining, thought provoking dramas and documentaries, as well as engaging the audiences of the commercial and corporate based films that he produces.
Since Brown Car's inception Jimmy has received commissions to produce and direct documentaries for the web and t.v, as well as to write and direct drama for the cinema and small screen. Jimmy has worked as a London based photographer since 2002, shooting for clients in the fashion, commercial and corporate worlds, as well as for individual models and actors. He has a personable shooting style, which lends itself to getting the best out of each subject in front of the lens. He enjoys working within a team, setting up a shot in the studio or on location, as well as capturing moments in a spontaneous environment.
